Cinnamon active have recently completed the management of a two day conference for Rescue 3 Europe in Stockton-on-Tees. Rescue 3 Europe is a division of Rescue 3 International which provides internationally recognised rescue training for many emergency services, whitewater professionals and Rescue teams around the Globe.
This inaugural event was created to communicate a range of messages to existing and potential clients for Rescue 3 Europe, while enhancing and promoting the Rescue 3 brand and range of quality courses to everyone present.
The event combined 4 elements which would normally be seen as stand alone events. 1. Conference 2. Exhibitors of equipment and clothing 3. Demonstrations of water and rope safety skills 4. Networking
However the 4 elements were combined over the 2 days to create an imaginative stimulating event which maximised the opportunities and time to the delegate audience.
Delegates attended came from Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Eire and the UK.
The programme was designed with a balance of morning presentations from leading keynote speakers from the UK, USA and Europe in water safety these included:

Rodney Sebregts, Rescue 3 Benelux
Laurie Adams, Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service & UK CFOA Inland Water Tactical Group
Coffee and Lunch breaks were extended to allow delegates the opportunity to visit the 13 trade stands on show displaying water safety equipment, clothing and machinery from the leading manufacturers and retailers, these included: Yamaha, Zodiac, Safequip, Goliarth, Full list of exhibitors
Both afternoons took the delegates out of the presentation environment out to water and rope based demonstrations which took place at the newly refurbished Tees Barrage White Water Centre just a 5 minute drive away.
At the end of the first day an Award Ceremony was conducted in the refurbished Tees Active centre with 7 awards being presented by Jon Gorman (Rescue 3 Europe) & Mike Turnbull (Rescue 3 International).
Cinnamon active worked closely with Rescue 3 Europe on the format and setup of the event. We were responsable for management of the event including delegate registration, accommodation bookings, venue management, exhibitor bookings and were present throughout to set up the day before the event and during the two days.to ensure the smooth running of the event.
